In another example of the ad industry creating unrealistic beauty standards for women, they’re now manufacturing models for Ford.

Along with the newly designed Fiesta, they’ve designed Antonella. She’s been created using demographic info.

“Antonella is an attractive 28-year old woman who lives in Rome. Her life is focused on friends and fun, clubbing and parties. She is also completely imaginary. She was the guiding personality for the Ford Verve, a design study that served as the basis for the latest-generation Fiesta.” – NY Times

We’ll all will be obsolete eventually.

Finally a font for Canadians. Um… not that I was really waiting for that, but now that it’s here, I do like it. Called Adanac, it’s an iconic font representing aspects of Canadian culture and history.

I’ve spent hours looking for the perfect background texture on the web (in high enough resolution that I can actually use it). There are hundreds of hi-quality, hi-res textures on this site that are hugely valuable when doing detailed comps.
