A four hour 4-day work week works!

A year ago, Utah government put 17,000 executive branch employees on a 10 hour a day, four day a week schedule to save energy. How’d it work?

Energy savings and reduction in carbon emissions
Traffic reduction and commuter health
Budget boost
Happier, healthier workforce
Economic stimulus through savings

Hell, yeah. I work 10 hour days anyway!

What you are about to see transcends WTF. It will take you to an astral plane of pure insanity.

Is this a game? Have you played it? Would you admit it if you had?

Above all: This HAS to be Japanese, right?

Kseniya Simonova creates stories in the sand by Graham

When I was in grade 8, an old Japanese man came to visit my school. I guess the principal thought his extraordinary skill would inspire us, because he had dedicated his entire life to one pursuit and mastered it.

He could write on small things.

If you wanted a poem on a grain of rice or your name on a human hair, he was your guy. Through a translator, and probably to the teachers’ chagrin, he spoke of his contempt for us, his young audience. He said we were lazy and lacked the dedication and focus it took him to spend 60 years learning to write on hair.

The girl in the following video is Kseniya Simonova, winner of Ukraine’s Got Talent.  She’s creates with sand in a way that makes me ashamed of every castle I ever built at the beach.

She’s 24 and she started doing this last year.

Fuck you, old Japanese guy.
